Stressed... Overwhelmed with work... endless weekly assignments... ugghh... I need a break...

I'll be heading to Washington DC in 2 weeks' time to help out in a homeless shelter and food bank, take care of some underprivileged kids in a day care centre whilst squeezing in time to soak in the sights of DC. Will Hidayah be able to catch a glimpse of George Bush?

Watch out for the "Washington DC & Soup Kitchens" blogs!

Delaware dreaming

.:: University of Delaware ::.

Who can forget our little adventure driving around 3 states in 1 day (Delaware, New Jersey & Maryland) just to get to the right Wal-Mart!

I spent a lovely weekend in Newark, Delaware with Zulfa (Fulbrighter from Maldives) and her equally wonderful housemates, Maryna (Russia) & Adrianna (Greece). Thanks also to Ali (my course mate & fellow Fulbrighter) who remained calm while a panicky me ran around Temple University's bookstore in Philadelphia trying to locate my lost handbag!

Ladies, I look forward to see you in our quaint town soon!
