The Grand Journey of a Lifetime
Alhamdulillah (Thank God), I was able to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, which is to go on the hajj. It was a 13-year wait due to the country's quota imposed by the Saudi government. It felt so surreal. I was nervous and couldn't even pack my bag for my 27 days journey. I left Singapore on 22 May with my hajj group comprised of strangers. When I returned home, I gained sisters, aunts and uncles who shared wonderful memory of our hajj journey.
The hajj experience was heartfelt and humbling. I really enjoyed my hajj. I prayed that those who want to go for hajj and umrah (mini pilgrimage) will be inviting by Allah to His House soon.
InsyaAllah, God willing, I will write a book about the grand journey of a lifetime.
