My K-Drama List (2025) - Part 4

15. The Haunted Palace 귀궁 - I must confess that I 'scrolled' quickly and only watched the scenes where my 'Kang Tae-Pung son' acted as the Imugi Bi-Bi. Cho Han-Gyeol showed potential in his acting. I am a proud mum... hahaha.

16. Trigger 트리거 - About gun culture, school/work place bullying, organ trafficking, and police! Kim Nam Gil is super fine. The actor who played Moon Baek, the orphan who was trafficked for his eye and other organs, was the same actor who played Gangcheori in The Haunted Palace. I love Korean police, crime, investigative, serial killer dramas. Script is King.

17. Hot Stove League 스토브리그 - I am in my sports drama phase, all started by The Winning Try. This drama will be out of Netflix end of October so I got to quickly watch it. It's about a professional baseball team 'Dreams' that ranks bottom of the league. I always love underdogs, rising against all odds storylines... even though baseball wasn't one of my favourite sports (well, except for Chilbong in Reply 1994, Go Yonsei!). The product placement (ginseng tea, coffee machines, food brands etc) was cringey and so obvious. I quite like this series but The Winning Try reigns No. 1 in my sporting heart!

I am off to Germany and the United Arab Emirates for the Frankfurt Book Fair and two conferences in October to November so I will not be able to blog or watch K-dramas as often. Aigoo!
