My K-Drama List (2025) - Part 6

... my favourite Taxi Driver is back!

24. Taxi Driver 3 모범택시3 (ongoing) - Yeay... my favourite taxi company and ex special forces heartthrob Do-Gi are back!

25. Flex x Cop 재벌X형사 - I can't get enough of Koo Woong in Yumi Cells and since Anh Boo-Hyun is acting in this cop series (as the cheabol Jin Isoo, why not, right? Sae-yi, Woong's irritating colleague in Yumi Cells is now Woong's team leader in this drama. I like Isoo's father (Chairman of Hansu Group), righteous albeit awkward and cold towards Isoo. The twist is so... unexpected. Good script is key!

26. Single in Seoul 싱글 인 서울 - Watched this on the Korean Air night flight to Seoul. How apt is that?! I was surprised that the simple storyline can be quite heartwarming. I am tempted to write 'Single in Singapore'. Should I?
"None but the brave deserves the fair." "Meaningless kindness should be a crime." "Writing is like traces of love."

27. Hijack 1971 하이재킹 - Watched this in Korean in Seoul without any subtitles. Jin Goo (Hotel Del Luna) and Jung Woo (Narco-Saints) are such good actors. I feel as if I am in that plane.

28. The Age of Shadows 밀정 (Emissary)- Watched this film on the flight from Seoul to Singapore. I have been wanting to watch this film for some time. The film was selected as South Korean entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards. Gong Yoo was excellent as the regional leader of Korean independence group, the Righteous Brotherhood. The film was set during the Japanese occupation of Korea in 1920s.
