My K-Drama List (2026) - Part 1

Another Year. Another Dream. But it's still YOO.

1. Made in Korea 메이드 인 코리아 - How apt that this is the first K-drama that I watched to hail the start of 2026. Though I am not a fan of Hyun Bin, the story of power, lawyers, Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), drugs, yakuza is fascinating. I'm not satisfied with the ending though...

2. Taxi Driver 3 모범택시3 - Finished the series which I started last December. Captain Kim Do-Gi looked damn hot in his uniform. I have a soft spot for men in uniform especially when they have integrity and principles to boot.

3. Spring Fever 스프링 피버 (watched episode 1 but might not continue) - Cos of Woong in 'Yumi Cells'. The love-interest teacher acted in 'Money Heist Korea' and because of my bias (I didn't like her character then), I don't feel like watching this series. Besides, the series doesn't have the refreshing vibes like in 'Yumi Cells'.

4. Single's Inferno 솔로지옥 (ongoing) - It's Season 5! I started watching Season 3 out of curiosity. Was pleasantly surprised how this series is different from western dating shows. I laughed and cried with the participants. I'm rooting for our down-to-earth track queen Min-Ji who never waivered in her feelings for Seung-il (see photo above). I will choose these men: Season 2--Dex /Jin Young (former ROKN UDT soldier, now one of the hosts of this series), Season 3--Min-Kyu (shy Korea Coast Guard Special Rescue Team), Season 5--It would either be Jae-Jin (the contemporary dancer who's poetic and calm) or Seung-il (cos Min-Ji made him look desirable) or Hyun-jae (nice, shy guy who has yet to go on dates with the female participants; what, are they blind?). Hyun-Jae reminded me of the hot and aloof vampire Edward Cullen, yes from the Hidayah Cullen era. I am so frivolous.
