My K-Drama List (2026) - Part 2

I was away in Pulau Penyengat and Bintan before the fasting month for a road trip cum impromptu documentary filming with Jassmin. Had a great time and wished it was longer. Anyway, will write about that experience in another post. Too many things have been happening and I figured, I better write this post before other things happen...

6. S Line 라인 (watched episode 1, need to subscribe to Viu for the rest) - Missed this hyped-up drama about red lines appearing above people’s head (connect people who have had sex relations) and serial killings. Looks interesting but I have too many cable subscriptions already :(

7. Undercover Miss Hong 언더커버 미쓰홍 - This comedy drama is about undercover operations, corporate fraud, friendship and relationships. I was curious as my 'son' Cho Han-Gyeol (Kang Tai-pung in The Winning Try) plays the second lead actor besides experienced actors. And he acted very well! He was funny and natural. My heart was bursting with pride. I enjoyed this drama due to the humour, storyline and good acting by almost everyone.

8. Oh My Ghost Clients 노무사 노무진 - Cos of legal drama and was curious of the  mushrooming of humourous, supernatural-themed K-drama. The main actor like in the Phantom Lawyer was also from Hospital Playlist. I was surprised that I enjoyed this series. The storyline of justice for the undertrodden struck a code in me. Justice for the abused and revenge (legal) for the abusers made me teared a few times while watching this series.

9. Phantom Lawyer 신이랑 법률사무소 (ongoing) - Cos of Yeo Yeon-Seok (Go Dong Mae in Mr Sunshine) and legal drama and supernatural. I didn't have much expectations but the storylines are quite good and heartwarming. One of the actors made references to Hospital Playlist and Dr Romantic which Yeon-Seok acted in.

10. Humint 휴민트 - I was working so hard (lack of sleep) and needed a break. So, K-movie it is! I love 'Humint' (Human Intelligence) not because Zo In-Sung acted in it (same character as in Moving). Vladivostok, Russia, North and South Korea secret agents. Drugs and human trafficking. Betrayal. Sacrifice. A poetic love story. Excellent acting by the two male North Korean secret agents (who acted in 'The 8 Show', Lightshop, Reply 1988).
