A wedding to welcome 2024

My French-Moroccan family was in Singapore end of December for a wedding. It was a whirlwind affair and to show support to a beloved son and brother, an entourage came from all parts of France. I was not in best state of mind (Gaza genocide, my father's dementia, kak Zalyah's passing etc.) and didn't feel like taking part in the wedding ceremony. But, since I still have the gorgeous Moroccan gown given by aunt Suaad, why not, right? I didn't know that the family colour scheme was blue. Oh well, red, white and blue -- viva la France!
When it was time for me to bid farewell, I cried buckets and hugged everyone. I don't know when I will see them again. Life is fragile. Every little moments spent with loved ones are precious.
