One-year Anniversary of 'My Name is Riz' book

Today (16 Dec 2023) is the one-year anniversary of ‘My Name is Riz. I have Motor Neurone Disease’ book. Thank you to everyone who have helped in whatever ways to support us in this book project.

Alhamdulillah (Thank God), we have set up the Riz Sunawan Bursary (administered by LBKM) with a donation of $35,000 from book sales.

All 179 primary schools, 26 special needs schools, and 6 madrasahs have received 2 copies of the book for their libraries. All 305 kindergartens, pre-schools both private, and MOE-run, mosque-run, church-run, temple-run have received 1 copy of the book. Thanks to Dr Jazlan Joosoph and uncle Abdullah Joffri* for sponsoring the envelopes and postage costs. Pls make doa for them.

We still have some books for sale. Pls get them from Wardah Books and Ungu Pen. All sales proceeds will go towards the Riz Sunawan Bursary. 

*My late uncle Mohamed Ali (Abdullah's eldest brother) sponsored the printing of the book.
